Role description
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach / Scrum Master with a minimum of 5 years working with Agile teams to support and guide multiple teams in achieving high performance, alignment, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies, excellent facilitation abilities, and a servant-leadership mindset to help teams deliver value consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum and Kanban principles, ensuring effective understanding, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Kanban flow reviews.
Document coaching outcomes and maintain updated working agreements that reflect team expectations and best practices.
Identify, analyze, and remove team impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
Promote self-organization and servant leadership within teams.
Manage and prioritize product or team backlogs in alignment with IT leadership priorities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technical leads, architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and security teams to maintain alignment and transparency.
Apply Kanban practices such as workflow visualization, explicit policies, and WIP limits to enhance throughput and delivery consistency.
Support risk identification, dependency tracking, and overall team dynamics to strengthen iterative delivery.
Utilize Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow (ITSM & Agile modules), MS Teams, and Office 365 to maintain metrics, dashboards, and workflow documentation.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Agile delivery teams.
Strong expertise in Scrum and Kanban methodologies and their underlying principles.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proven ability to identify team challenges and adopt effective solutions.
Experience in backlog management aligned with organizational priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow Agile/ITSM, MS Teams, and Office365.
Scrum Master certification required (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
Additional Agile certifications are a plus.
