AI Architect – AI-Enabled ERP Implementation Toolsets

OverviewPosition Overview The AI Architect is responsible for designing, engineering, and deploying advanced AI-driven toolsets that accelerate and enhance ERP implementations across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM), Business Central (BC), and Customer Engagement (CE). This role combines deep knowledge of Microsoft ERP platforms with expertise in artificial intelligence, automation frameworks, data engineering, and solution architecture. The AI Architect will work cross-functionally with product, consulting, and engineering teams to deliver intelligent accelerators, automation utilities, copilots, data-driven insights, and implementation lifecycle tools. Key ResponsibilitiesAI Architecture & Solution Design Architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions that optimize ERP implementation tasks such as configuration, data migration, testing, documentation, and training. Design modular, scalable AI components that integrate seamlessly with D365 F&SCM, Business Central, and CE. Develop reusable AI frameworks, copilots, prompt engineering libraries, automation agents, and model pipelines tailored for ERP consulting use cases. Evaluate and integrate Azure AI and Microsoft Copilot capabilities across Dynamics 365 workloads. ERP-Focused AI Toolset Development Build AI-enhanced implementation toolsets including: Automated configuration assistants Data transformation and mapping intelligence Requirements capture copilots Test script and UAT scenario generators Documentation automation (BP, SOP, training material, BRD/FDD) Predictive analytics for project governance and risk Create intelligent APIs and connectors for F&SCM, BC, and CE to support AI workflows and agent-driven automation. Data Engineering & Integration Design data ingestion, normalization, and vectorization pipelines from ERP environments. Define and manage data strategies for training models using customer, industry, and template datasets. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards across all Microsoft cloud environments. Technical Leadership & Collaboration Lead AI architecture reviews and provide technical direction to engineering teams. Collaborate with ERP solution architects to ensure alignment with Microsoft-recommended implementation methodologies. Partner with product managers to define AI roadmap, feature requirements, and release plans. Mentor engineering talent in AI adoption, prompt engineering, and ERP-specific model design. Innovation & Research Stay current with advancements in Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Studio, AI Agents, ML frameworks, and ERP automation technologies. Prototype emerging AI capabilities and evaluate feasibility for integration into ERP implementation accelerators. Contribute to the creation of IP, patents, and market-differentiating AI tools. Required Qualifications 7+ years’ experience in enterprise solution architecture, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Strong understanding of D365 F&SCM, Business Central, and CE business processes, data models, and integration patterns. Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Cognitive Search, AI Agents, Azure Functions, and Power Platform. Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, and modern AI/ML frameworks. Expertise in vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures. Strong knowledge of cloud security, DevOps, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications (Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform, AI Engineer, Azure Architect). Experience building copilots, intelligent agents, or AI-driven ERP accelerators. Background in ERP implementation methodologies (SureStep, Success by Design). Experience working in consulting, SaaS product development, or ERP delivery organizations. Soft Skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
