We’re seeking an engineer to support a series of applied AI projects. You’ll work alongside a focused delivery team to build and refine custom GPT tools, and integrate outputs into downstream systems. Responsibilities: Design and build GPT-based tools using OpenAI APIs Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using client data sources Develop backend services and APIs to deliver AI outputs to business systems Work closely with internal engineers and consultants to define integration points and timelines Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code Requirements: Practical experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) and vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate) Strong backend development skills in Python or Node.js Experience with document parsing libraries or resume parsing tools Proven ability to design, build, and maintain RAG pipelines or similar AI workflows Self-sufficient and reliable in a remote setting, with strong technical judgment and delivery focus Hours: 10–20 hours/week Location: U.S. only (remote) Communication: Slack, async updates, 1 team call/week Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
