Role description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to support a State Government Transportation client. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflakeβs data platform to improve transportation systems, analytics, and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design and develop AI/ML models for transportation use cases such as traffic prediction, route optimization, and demand forecasting
β’ Work extensively with Snowflake for data storage, transformation, and analytics
β’ Build and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and cloud-native tools
β’ Implement Snowflake Snowpark for advanced data processing and ML workloads
β’ Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and transportation stakeholders
β’ Deploy ML models into production using MLOps best practices
β’ Perform data analysis on large-scale transportation datasets (traffic, GPS, IoT, etc.)
β’ Ensure compliance with government data security and governance standards
β’ Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy
Required Skills
β’ Strong experience in AI/ML development (Regression, Classification, NLP, Time Series)
β’ Hands-on experience with Snowflake (Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, Data Sharing)
β’ Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
β’ Experience with SQL and data modeling
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
β’ Experience with MLOps tools (CI/CD, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working with State Government or Public Sector projects
β’ Domain knowledge in Transportation / Traffic Systems / Smart Mobility
β’ Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, streaming pipelines)
β’ Familiarity with GIS data and geospatial analytics
β’ Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
