Job Summary AI Engineer • Design and implement AI solutions in collaboration with architects, infrastructure, and engineering teams. • Develop, deploy, and maintain AI models ensuring scalability, reliability, and security within data orchestration systems. • Monitor and improve AI systems by tracking performance metrics, gathering user feedback, and applying governance methodologies for transparency and ethical, unbiased operation. • Support AI processes by providing subject matter expertise, documentation, and guidance to other teams. • Prepare and manage data by designing and implementing processes to improve data quality, synthesize training datasets, and enable AI usage. • Utilize programming languages (Python primarily, Java secondary) and AI/ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain) for solution development. • Apply best practices in prompt engineering and work with advanced AI patterns, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). • Work with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Milvus, Chroma, Weaviate), embeddings, and search indexes. • Deploy solutions on public cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable) using strong development practices (source control, testing, DevOps/CI/CD). • Participate in API and application development as needed. • Maintain documentation, ensure security, and uphold data governance throughout the AI system lifecycle. • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, and relevant certifications in AI, data engineering, or cloud technologies. • Experience required in production, customer-facing AI/data orchestration systems and cloud deployment.
