Job Title: AI/ML Developer Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP End Date: 12/31/2025 (with potential for extension) Work Location: Remote - United States (preference for candidates based in Nashville, TN) Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week (1st shift hours) Travel: 5-10% (as needed) Compensation: $75 to $90+ per hour (dependent on relevant experience level) About the Role: Our global business consulting client is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Developer to join their team on a contract basis, with a preference for talent located in the Nashville area. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, and cloud-native architectures to design and deliver innovative digital solutions that drive measurable impact. You will partner closely with diverse product engineering teams to co-create solutions that power some of the world’s leading organizations. You'll be a member of our client's Technology Product Engineering team. This team delivers cutting-edge internal and market-facing digital solutions that help power our client's operations and leadership position in the marketplace. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging industry best practices, methodologies, and frameworks. • Build scalable, maintainable applications using modern languages and frameworks, adhering to clean coding principles, data structures, and algorithmic best practices. • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions utilizing FaaS, PaaS, and microservices on Azure, AWS, and GCP. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers, fostering a culture of co-creation, alignment, and shared momentum toward achieving product goals. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying methodologies such as XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, and SRE, and using tools like ADO, GitHub, SonarQube, etc. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with AI/ML processes, methodologies, and best practices. • Minimum of 6+ years of software engineering foundation experience, with strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, code instrumentation, and clean coding principles. • Proven experience (6+ years) with most of the following technologies: • Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, C#, .NET Core, Java, Golang, SQL/NoSQL • 6+ years of experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions using FaaS/PaaS/microservices on Azure, AWS, and GCP. • Strong understanding of modern engineering methodologies and tools: XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube, etc. Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s degree in a related field. • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML and software engineering as described above. • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and shifting priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
