Role description
Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Senior Director, IT Applications to deliver the mission and vision of the IT organization while fostering a client-centric culture.Develop, implement, and support AI-powered automation and intelligent workflows across multiple business domains.Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Build and maintain AI-driven applications using Azure AI services (Document Intelligence, Cognitive Services, AI Foundry), Power Automate, and Python.Integrate AI models with enterprise systems (Dynamics CRM, F&O, Data Lake, SharePoint).Develop reusable components for document processing, predictive analytics, and conversational AI.Ensure solutions meet accuracy, security, and compliance standards.Continuously explore emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.4–6 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in AI/ML projects and Microsoft ecosystem.Experience with Azure AI services, Power Platform, Python, and data integration.Familiarity with schema mapping, data validation, and confidence scoring techniques.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven track record of delivering automation and AI solutions in an innovative business environment. The Work: Research and evaluate emerging AI tools relevant to software development (e.g., code assistants, automation frameworks, testing tools, API-based AI services). Build and maintain internal prototypes or automation scripts using AI/ML APIs , MCP servers, LLMs and frameworks. Provide training, demos, and documentation to help teams understand and use AI solutions effectively. Monitor AI tool performance, gather user feedback, and suggest improvements. Stay up to date with industry advancements and communicate insights to engineering leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven process optimization. Assist in maintaining compliance, security, and ethical use of AI systems within engineering operations. Qualifications:Here's what you need: Minimum of 1 year of experience using or experimenting with modern Azure AI tools for developers (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI API, Foundry, Azure ML, etc) Minimum of 3 years of experience with programming concepts and hands-on coding in Python. Strong in Python. Minimum of 1 year of experience implementing or prototyping AI-driven automation or productivity tools. Minimum of 1 year of experience evaluating technical tools and communicating their benefits to non-experts in.
