AI Architect - Minimum 6 Months
Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation in the technology sector, is seeking an experienced AI Architect for a 6-month daily rate contract based in Dublin (remote working and just some ad hoc days on site needed in Dublin only). The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in building AI DevOps solutions and have experience with Microsoft technology stacks.
Key Objectives
Work with the Enterprise Architect, Business Analyst and Application SMEs to deliver AI capability across the business that will enable a transformation of business processes.
Ensure extensibility for multiple use cases beyond lease extraction (e.g., other contract types, compliance checks).
Implement scalable workflows and pipelines for ingestion, processing, and querying.
Maintain cloud-native best practices (Azure, OpenAI, possibly hybrid AI stacks).
Required Expertise
Strong AI architecture skills: Designing modular, layered systems for enterprise AI.
Experience with AI stacks from multiple vendors including Microsoft.
Familiarity with OpenAI APIs and embedding-based retrieval workflows.
Proficiency in Python for backend services and React (or similar) for UI.
Knowledge of pipeline orchestration (e.g., Azure Functions, Durable Functions, or alternatives).
Ability to design for scalability, security, and maintainability.
Ideal Candidate
Has delivered end-to-end AI solutions in enterprise environments.
Comfortable working across multiple AI stacks (Microsoft, AWS etc).
Strong background in workflow automation and data pipelines.
• Can advise on best practices for RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in cloud or AI architecture (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate) are advantageous.
