Senior Application Developer Atlassian/ Jira Cloud Migration Lead Location: Lemont, IL, Oak Ridge, TN, or Germantown, MD Security Clearance required for this position-Experience supporting Federal Government clients MUST Position Overview: DigiTran Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Atlassian Application Developer. The selected candidate will lead Jira and Confluence cloud migration efforts, provide Identity and Access Management (IAM) expertise, and support the development and maintenance of enterprise collaboration solutions This role requires a strong combination of Atlassian platform expertise, software development experience, and cloud migration leadership. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in software/application development • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom Jira solutions • Hands-on experience with Jira Administration and Confluence Administration • Experience migrating Jira and Confluence environments to Atlassian Cloud • Experience with Atlassian Cloud platform • Strong Java and JavaScript development experience • Experience working with SQL and relational databases • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation and administration • Experience with source control systems, development frameworks, and modern development tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills Key Responsibilities: • Lead planning, design, and execution of Jira and Confluence migrations to Atlassian Cloud • Design, develop, and maintain custom Jira solutions and integrations • Administer and support enterprise Jira and Confluence environments • Provide Identity and Access Management (IAM) expertise and support • Develop and maintain Java and JavaScript-based applications and integrations • Support database design, development, and optimization activities • Troubleshoot and resolve application and platform issues • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions • Produce technical documentation and implementation artifacts • Support modernization and continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise systems Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting Federal Government clients • Experience with SAML, LDAP, Active Directory, or Single Sign-On integrations • Atlassian certifications • Experience leading enterprise cloud migration projects • Experience mentoring junior developers and technical teams Desired Skills • Jira Administration • Confluence Administration • Atlassian Cloud • Jira Cloud Migration • Confluence Cloud Migration • Java • JavaScript • SQL • IAM • SAML • LDAP • Active Directory • Azure DevOps • Agile / Scrum
