We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer Lead to lead the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure. This role requires advanced proficiency in AWS services, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring. You will be responsible for deploying robust cloud architectures, ensuring compliance, optimizing performance, and supporting operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
β’ Collaborate with architecture and development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
β’ Develop blueprints, solution roadmaps, and reference architectures for cloud deployments.
β’ Operate and support EC2-hosted Operating Systems, ensuring patching and software currency.
β’ Monitor, analyze, and report on service health, incident trends, capacity, and performance of AWS resources.
β’ Implement and manage PaaS services including Lambda, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, Load Balancers, EventBridge, and AWS DB offerings.
β’ Oversee access controls and IAM configuration, including issue resolution and policy/role management.
β’ Use event management systems to detect, triage, and respond to events affecting infrastructure health.
β’ Ensure incident and problem management SLAs are met with timely resolution and minimal business impact.
β’ Provide Tier 2/3 support and remediation for AWS infrastructure workloads.
β’ Lead team-level coordination and manage workload distribution across initiatives.
Technical Profile
β’ Proficient with AWS services and infrastructure, especially PaaS and IaaS components.
β’ Experienced in scripting and automation using tools such as Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and MAG Resource Manager.
β’ Strong grasp of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, configuration management, and performance monitoring.
β’ Familiar with SQL and MySQL databases; NoSQL experience is an asset.
β’ Background in networking, containerization, and fault-tolerant system design.
β’ Experienced with incident, problem, and event management in enterprise-scale environments.
