AWS Cloud Engineer (Only USC /GC)

I have an immediate requirement, please let me know if you are interested in this role Role – AWS Senior engineer Location – Jersey City NJ (Onsite) Mode: Contract This resource will be part of our Cloud Infrastructure Team supporting our Investment Bank. This role will be key in working with various infrastructure teams (Security, Networking, Database, Unix) to develop, deploy and support applications. Due to the collaborative nature of the role, it will be important that this resource be senior in both DevOps / AWS / technical skills and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have strong communication, teamwork, customer service and leadership skills to partner with broader global technology engineering, information security and line of business teams Skills / Experience • 10+ years experience in AWS • Experience in designing and implementing highly resilient, cloud-native and multi-region solutions for public cloud infrastructure • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and Kafka (MSK) in AWS • Strong proficiency with High Availability and resiliency in the cloud • AWS professional and/or specialty certifications, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer • Experience in implementing Secure Architectures for private and/or public internet facing systems • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices. Such as Containers, Serverless, Microservices • Strong understanding of IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Bitbucket, Bamboo etc. • Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols and distributed systems • Proficiency in Python, AWS CLI • Working knowledge of Shared Responsibility models • Prior experience building out CI/CD pipelines • Experience working in Agile teams, and related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc) • Background in software development a plus Thanks, Ravi Kumar Raas Infotek Newark, DE 19702 Direct No: 302-286-9894 Email: Ravi.kumar@raasinfotek.com
