Senior Azure Data Engineer - Contractor Location : NYC (3 day onsite) Duration : 10+ month Candidates must go onsite to the client’s offices in NY three days a week MUST HAVE DETAILS - Azure Data engineer with experience in building data pipelines - Programming knowledge in either Python or Java - Snowflake - Data Quality and Governance - Collibra data quality Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure to ensure efficient data flow and processing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions • Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability • Ensure data governance and quality standards are met, utilizing tools like Collibra • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architecture, and best practices Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering are preferred • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies • Mandatory skills include Azure Data Engineering experience, programming knowledge in Python or Java, proficiency in Snowflake, and Data Quality and Governance • Familiarity with Spark and Linux management is essential • This position requires 3 days onsite in NYC and allows for remote work for the remaining days
