Job Title: Business analyst
Duration: 12 months
Location / Hybrid: Leavesden.
As Business Analyst for these key technology portfolios, they will play an important role in the success of those teams. They will be a business process expert, spearheading technical analysis and functional analysis for complex global technology solutions.
This is a hands-on BA role with strong appreciation of project management principles and processes. They will be working directly with BU process owners and stakeholders, as well as key project and technical managers to ensure alignment of technology solutions with global strategic roadmaps. The role requires excellent Business-Partner relationship management skills, as well as a good understanding of applications.
This position is responsible for the development of business requirements, business process maps, integration/architecture maps, process automation and relevant BA/Project documentation. They will be conducting user interviews and playing an active role in workshops with project stakeholders to elicit business requirements and designs for projects and system enhancements. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, they will use their systems knowledge to support the subsequent phases of design, development, testing and deployment. This position will also provide analysis and expertise on global technology business transformation initiatives and associated business impact.

Key responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering, Process Mapping, Capability Modelling, Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis, Business Process Transformation, and Change Management are all critical parts of this role
• Responsible for BA deliverables through project lifecycle; inclusive of design sessions, data interface and migration processes, data validation, building business scenarios for testing, reviewing test plans and ensuring the appropriate end-user acceptance testing is obtained.
• Management of vendors to ensure their deliverables meet business requirements, users are trained adequately, and support inputs like data uploads and new business processes.
• Liaise with internal & external technology teams, to ensure agreed business system features are properly implemented
• Champion business change in alignment to project strategy, to enable high solution adoption. And identify improvement opportunities and contribute to project road-mapping
• Maintain excellent stakeholder management skills and sustainment of outstanding business partner relationships.
• Maintain understanding of changing business needs and the subsequent impact on process or technology.
Prior experience
Proven prior experience to successfully applying in-depth business analysis within retail environments or or with customer facing systems, will be of great value for the successful execution of this role. Prior experience in multi-geography implementations is important, due to the global and diverse nature of our portfolio. Strong experience in any of the following will be considered advantageous:
• Physical Retail solutions or Retail POS
• PED / Card Present Payments Solutions / PCI
• Site/Building fit outs
• Ticketing, websites, retail & eComm, warehousing, customer service, salesforce, and analytics
• Working within a high-paced customer-facing environment
