Business Analyst

Business Analyst - ServiceNow | Reporting & Analytics Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with strong ServiceNow knowledge to support business and technology stakeholders across process improvement, reporting, and platform optimization initiatives. This role is $45-$48 usd/hr, but on a contractual-basis, full-time hours, remote-based with occasional travel to New Jersey once per quarter maximum (TRAVEL EXPENSES PAID), and is 12-months project duration. Key Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications • Translate business needs into ServiceNow solutions (ITSM, workflows, reporting, enhancements) • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and similar analytics tools • Create clear, executive-ready documentation including PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, and functional design documents • Support data analysis, KPI tracking, and operational reporting • Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted tools to improve documentation and analysis • Collaborate with technical teams to validate requirements and support delivery Required Skills & Experience: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments • Strong understanding of ServiceNow (functional knowledge required; configuration is a plus) • Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI preferred) • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel • Comfortable using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice-to-have: ServiceNow certifications, ITSM experience, Agile/Scrum exposure.
