Location : Glasgow, UK (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite/week)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Avaloq Core Banking platform to bridge business requirements and technical solutions within private banking and wealth management environments. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and support the implementation of Avaloq-based banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and Avaloq solution designs.
• Work closely with Avaloq developers, architects, and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Configure and support Avaloq modules according to business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Create functional requirement documents (FRD), business requirement documents (BRD), and user stories.
• Support system integration, data migration, and transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk, and governance requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Strong experience with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
• Knowledge of Avaloq modules such as:
• Client Management
• Portfolio Management
• Investment Management
• Payments
• Securities & Trading
• Wealth Management
• Credit/Lending
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
• Understanding of banking products, private banking, and wealth management operations.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with system integration and API-based solutions is advantageous
