Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst with broad experience across banking and financial services processes. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams. The ideal candidate will have experience spanning KYC, AML, Legal, and Financial processes, rather than being narrowly focused on data engineering or technical flows. Key Responsibilities • Partner with stakeholders across Legal, AML, Finance, and Operations to capture business objectives and define structured requirements. • Write clear functional specifications in collaboration with technology teams. • Facilitate workshops and discussions to resolve ambiguity and ensure alignment between business and technical teams. • Perform basic data interrogation using SQL (e.g., running queries to validate requirements), but production-level coding is not required. • Support cross-functional initiatives involving compliance, risk, and regulatory processes. • Occasionally assist with light project coordination to ensure timely delivery. Must-Have Skills • Broad Business Analysis experience across multiple domains (KYC, AML, Legal, Finance). • Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable specifications for technical implementation. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance-driven projects. • Comfortable working with technology teams on GenAI projects, including: • Requirements gathering and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). • Data analysis and validation using SQL (basic queries, joins, filters). • Collaboration with technical teams (Data Engineers, Solution Architects, AI/ML specialists). • Understanding of API integrations, data flows, and system interfaces (at a conceptual level).
