Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in custom software development. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and ensuring seamless communication between technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
โข Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
โข Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation to support software development processes.
โข Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in existing systems and business processes.
โข Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to manage workflows and track project progress.
โข Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies to ensure alignment and productivity within the development team.
โข Perform AB testing and analyze results to guide decision-making and optimize solutions.
โข Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to ensure clarity in project objectives.
โข Work closely with Software Engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
โข Assist in the management and improvement of CRM systems and claim administration processes.
โข Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
Requirements
โข Minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Analyst roles focused on custom software development.
โข Proficiency in writing user stories, creating documentation, and defining acceptance criteria.
โข Strong technical aptitude with the ability to bridge business requirements and engineering needs.
โข Familiarity with Atlassian Jira for project tracking and workflow management.
โข Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and facilitating team collaboration.
โข Knowledge of CRM systems and claim administration processes.
โข Competence in conducting gap analysis and recommending process improvements.
โข Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
