Business Analyst (Avaloq) – UK (Hybrid)
Location: UK (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Avaloq product expertise to join a leading financial services project in the UK. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on Avaloq implementations, enhancements, migrations, or transformation programs within private banking or wealth management environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to the Avaloq platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define functional solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Support Avaloq configuration, integration, and change initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Create user stories, process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), and functional specifications.
• Support testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in banking, wealth management, or private banking environments.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
• Experience in Avaloq implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, client onboarding, portfolio management, payments, securities, or wealth management processes.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working with UK or European banking clients.
• Knowledge of Avaloq parameterization and business processes.
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.
