Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst with QA experience to gather and document requirements, support application development, and perform testing and UAT activities. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid role requiring candidates to be local and able to come onsite frequently in Philedalphia, PA.
What Youβll Do
β’ Gather, analyze, and document business and software requirements from stakeholders
β’ Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, use cases, and test cases
β’ Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams
β’ Communicate requirements clearly to developers, testers, and stakeholders
β’ Create diagrams such as process flows, state diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, swim lanes, and wireframes
β’ Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure solutions align with business goals
β’ Conduct walkthroughs and support User Acceptance Testing UAT
β’ Perform functional and regression testing of applications
β’ Convert requirements into test cases and execute testing efforts
β’ Develop training materials, train users, and provide post deployment support
β’ Maintain clear and professional communication across cross functional teams
β’ Work independently and within teams on complex projects with demanding timelines
What Youβll Need
Required:
β’ Experience as a Business Analyst with hands on QA testing responsibilities
β’ Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
β’ Ability to create detailed documentation including user stories, test cases, and process flows
β’ Experience conducting UAT and supporting application releases
β’ Proficiency with SharePoint Online Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
β’ Experience with JIRA and GitLab or other Git repositories
β’ Experience with diagramming and design tools such as Visio or Balsamiq
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills
β’ Ability to work onsite as required local candidates only
Preferred:
β’ Experience working in hybrid environments with frequent stakeholder interaction
β’ Prior experience supporting both BA and QA functions in a dual role capacity
β’ Experience creating training documentation and leading user training sessions
Physical Demands
β’ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
β’ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc
β’ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
