Business Analyst
Remote- This position is a remote opportunity that can be located anywhere in
the continental US. EST/CST preferred
Duration- 1 year with possible extension
Must haves: Project management experience, basic understanding of Jira and the Agile methodology, interested in technology/software and willing to learn (5 years or less experience)
As a Business Analyst, you will be a part of an organization that works alongside retailers and lenders to deploy innovative and successful financing experiences tailored to their brands, customers and processes. We accomplish this by leveraging the robust technology foundation and powerful analytic resources that are the core of Versatile Credit. You will join a team that is dynamic, fast paced, and enthusiastic in their approach.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic software requirements gathering and analysis related to customer requirements
- Assist in creating and documenting workflows related to customer journeys
- Interface between users, technical staff, and project management to drive completion of key project deliverables
- Analyze problems and issues, determine impact, and help develop business solutions to remedy the identified issues
- Perform software QA, UAT, & integration testing as needed
- Prepare and distribute clean and precise slide decks for compliance reviews
- Learn basic configuration changes and how to apply these changes in specific instances
- Conduct personalized software training for customers to facilitate seamless integration/onboarding
- Ability to quantify and prioritize activities. Having the ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform duties with minimal supervision is critical to success in this role.
- Evaluate business processes to uncover areas for improvement, developing, and implementing solutions.
Qualifications / Skills:
- A basic understanding of Jira and the Agile methodology
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with attention to detail
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
