Job Title: Behavioral Health Data AnalystDirect Report: CEOJob Category: Data & ITLocation: Monmouth Junction, NJJob Type: Office 4 days a week (Fridays work from home)Level/Salary Range: Mid-LevelPosition Type: Full-Time (Contract to Hire)
Role and Responsibilities
Β· Develop reports using SQL, Excel, and DOMO
Β· Build reports to meet the financial, operational and clinical needs of clients
Β· Must be detail oriented and ability to self-check quality of work before presenting to manager for approval
Β· Must be pragmatic in approach to data analytics
Β· Support the build, development and/or implementation of defined risk models focused on medical, behavioral health and socioeconomic factors
Β· Support the development and build of data warehouse (ETL), Data Mining, and Business Intelligence (BI) aligned with strategic and business goals
Β· Work with project managers to develop, refine, and test workflows
Β· Foster relationships and trust with business partners
Β· Miscellaneous data/IT tasks
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Β· 3-5 yearsβ work experience in healthcare related field
Β· Healthcare experience preferred but not necessary
Β· Must have database experience writing SQL queries (3-5 years)
Β· Knowledge of clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, NDC); application within the behavioral health area is preferred
Β· Ability to offer innovative technical solutions to streamline workflows and processes
Β· Enjoys conducting research and taking an business approach to solving problems
Β· Process engineering mindset providing scalable, sustainable and well-documented solutions
Β· Possess an undergraduate degree in computer science or healthcare related field
Β· Detail oriented with ability to manage projects independently
Β· Strong coding skills for data analysis and data manipulation
Β· Experience working with healthcare data sets (EMR and claims)
Β· Hands-on experience with a behavioral health focused electronic medical record
Β· Effective written and verbal communication skills
Β· Interest in growing their career in Data and Information Technology
Β· Ability to work in a face paced startup environment
Β· Other skills/knowledge: Networking, VPN, VOIP, Web Development, Application Development, AWS, Windows Server, Linux, PHP, HTML, JavaScript
