Business Data Analyst

Position: Data/Business Analyst Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite in a Week) Duration: 12 Months Contract Payrate: $ 60 – 65 per hour W2 Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications • Conduct analysis of business requirements and processes for data centric projects • Responsible for gathering and writing data requirements. • Translate business requirements into data mapping specifications • Develop a thorough understanding of the data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources, and data integration used in the business domain • Troubleshoot data issues and work with data providers for resolution • Work with Data Engineers who will implement technical solutions to meet business requirements • Support developers with data subject expertise • Support phases of project development, from analysis and design to testing and implementation • Ensure that technology solutions meet the defined requirements. • Understanding of data quality and data governance • Provide ongoing support and training to business users on the new or revised systems.
