Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS QuickSight Developer to design and implement comprehensive dashboards for tracking both large scale migration progress and planning metrics. These dashboards will provide real-time visibility into migration execution, dependencies, blockers, and key milestones, while also supporting strategic planning efforts with insightful data visualizations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, migration, and planning teams to define key metrics, automate reporting, and ensure seamless data integration.
Required Experience:
β’ Strong hands-on experience with AWS QuickSight β including dashboard development, data sets, calculations, and interactive visualizations.
β’ Proficiency in SQL β ability to write and interpret complex queries for data extraction and transformation.
β’ Experience with AWS data services β such as Redshift, Athena, Glue, and CloudWatch.
β’ Background in data visualization and business intelligence β especially designing dashboards for large-scale projects or cloud migration tracking.
β’ Experience integrating data from multiple sources β including internal databases, Jira, or AWS services.
β’ Familiarity with cloud migration projects β or large-scale program tracking and planning.
β’ Strong collaboration skills β working with engineering, planning, and migration teams to define KPIs and metrics.
β’ Ability to automate reports and dashboard refreshes β including setting up alerts and resolving performance issues.
β’ Effective problem-solving and communication skills β to troubleshoot data discrepancies and align dashboards with stakeholder needs.
