Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer in Seattle, WA. Summary: As we continue building out our team, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to own end-to-end data solutions for publisher. This role involves translating complex publisher monetization challenges into specific analytics projects, conducting deep quantitative analysis, and effectively communicating results that shape our publisher strategies. You will help the organization identify, evaluate, and implement new tools and methodologies to enhance our monetization capabilities and deliver greater value to our advertising customers and publishing partners. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Business Intelligence Engineer will review existing data challenges to deliver a comprehensive solution with appropriate data strategy and tools
β’ Design, develop, build, and maintain scalable data solutions, including infrastructure, pipeline, reporting, to support long-term business strategies
β’ Simplify and re-invent current data solutions to support the business scope expansion
β’ Translate business problems into data questions, find solutions to solve those questions with resourcefulness
β’ Identify areas of opportunities and present analytical findings and recommendations to business leadership
β’ Work cross-functionally with other teams in various job families to gather data sources to provide a comprehensive view of the business, inclusive of supply, demand, sales, operations, shopper, etc.
β’ Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting/analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
β’ As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will design, build and maintain metrics and reports on program health
Requirements
β’ Graduate degree in Math/Statistics, Computer Science or related field, or Marketing is highly desirable
β’ 7+ years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets
β’ 7+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
β’ 5+ years optimizing and writing SQL queries
β’ 5+ years of dashboarding experience (building dashboards)
β’ 3+ years of Python (in Automation)
β’ 1+ years of advertising experience (understanding of large-scale ad space)
β’ Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
β’ Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
β’ Strong analytical mindset, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan, and execute the plan to answer those business questions
β’ Strong working knowledge of SQL
β’ Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
