Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer III in Seattle, WA. Summary: The client is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to be a key partner for the Advertising business, with a range of products offerings for advertisers. We are looking for a top technical and analytical mind capable of extracting value out of our large and disparate data sets. You will influence the direction of the business by leveraging our data to deliver insights that drive decisions, evolution of our products and the way they fit into the ecosystem. Additionally, you will help streamline and simplify the metric reporting needs for our operating cadences such as daily, weekly and monthly business reviews. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
β’ Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve team performance and measurement in the future
β’ Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities for our business development team
β’ Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale
β’ Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks
β’ Work with engineering and the data warehouse to enable the appropriate capture and storage of key data points
β’ Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
β’ Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
Requirements
β’ Graduate degree in Math/Statistics, Computer Science or related field, or Marketing is highly desirable
β’ 5-7 years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets
β’ Strong analytical mindset, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan, and execute the plan to answer those business questions
β’ Expert level knowledge of SQL
β’ Background (academic or professional) in statistics, programming
β’ Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders
β’ Expert SQL
β’ Excel Pivot tables
β’ Tableau (Python would be great)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
