Summary:
This position is designed for a skilled professional to analyze and map OTC financial products within the trade surveillance framework, with a strong focus on implementing and supporting the underlying technology. The role requires a deep understanding of OTC instruments, including derivatives, swaps, FX, commodities, and equities, as well as expertise in trade surveillance systems and data analysis tools.
Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on trade surveillance, compliance, and capital markets
β’ Deep understanding of OTC financial products, including derivatives, Fixed Income, Swaps, FX, commodities, and equities, with experience in their trading and risk management.
β’ Strong knowledge of trade surveillance systems and tools, such as Trading Hub, Actimize, SMARTS, or similar platforms, with hands-on experience in implementation and support.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools like Tableau or Power BI, essential for data-driven decision-making.
β’ Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies, enhancing efficiency in system development and deployment.
β’ Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to trade surveillance.
β’ Understanding of trade surveillance regulations and practices is highly desirable, enhancing the ability to deliver compliant solutions.
β’ Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
