The Opportunity We are inviting software developers, system administrators, and other technical professionals who work with AI models via Google Cloud Vertex AI to participate in an upcoming research project. We want to learn about your real-world experience integrating AI APIs – specifically via Vertex AI – into applications and workflows. Researchers looking for your skillset tend to pay up to $60/hour for projects completed. This project is open to practitioners with hands-on experience in: • Deploying and integrating AI models (such as Gemini, Claude, GPT or other foundation models) through the Google Cloud Vertex AI platform • Building and maintaining applications or automated workflows powered by Vertex AI endpoints • Working with Vertex AI features such as Model Garden, Vertex AI Studio, managed endpoints, pipelines, or the Vertex AI SDK Please note: This is a “bench” model. By verifying your credentials, you gain eligibility for high-level research tasks as they become available. Access is based on project demand and professional profile matching. What You'll Bring • Active experience as a software developer or system administrator working with AI APIs in a professional context • Hands-on integration of AI models via Google Cloud Vertex AI, including deploying models from Model Garden or using Vertex AI managed endpoints • Practical knowledge of embedding AI capabilities into applications or automated workflows using the Vertex AI SDK or REST APIs • Familiarity with Google Cloud infrastructure, IAM, and service account authentication in the context of AI workloads • Comfort discussing technical implementation details, challenges, and decisions in your day-to-day work What You'll Be Doing • Complete a paid screener to help us assess your background and suitability for specific research tasks • Participate in AI-moderated interviews • Complete qualitative surveys Nice To Have • Experience with multiple foundation models available through Amazon Bedrock (e.g. Claude, Titan, Llama, Mistral) in the same workflow or organisation • Hands-on work with RAG pipelines on AWS (e.g. using Amazon Kendra, OpenSearch, or Knowledge Bases for Amazon Bedrock), SageMaker fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or AWS-based agent frameworks (e.g. Agents for Amazon Bedrock) • Involvement in evaluating or selecting AWS AI services for enterprise use, including cost, latency, and compliance considerations Why Prolific is a great platform to join as a Participant Joining our platform as a Prolific participant will give you the chance to influence the AI models of the future using your professional expertise.
