Description:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure based on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with various departments to ensure the cloud infrastructure meets business, security, and compliance needs.
Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy applications utilizing the AWS stack (including EC2, Route53, S3, Lambda, etc.) to build scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Jenkins and Ansible.
• Implement cost-control strategies and optimize cloud resource.
• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and security standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve the companys engineering tools, systems, procedures, and data security.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
• Participate in regular Agile ceremonies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
• Promote a risk-aware culture and ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices.
Skills:
• AWS Certifications
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Jenkins, Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and Splunk
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
