Collibra Developer

Role: Collibra Developer Location: Washington, DC (Prefer Local) Duration: 6 Months - Long Term Work Model: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon About the Role: Looking Collibra Developer with hands-on experience in configuring and customizing the Collibra platform to meet specific business needs and data governance requirements. Enterprise implementation is essential; finance domain is preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a key contributor in the implementation and maintenance of metadata management and data governance frameworks using Collibra. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and deliver governance solutions. • Support enterprise initiatives around data access, classification, and control using governance frameworks. • Leverage Collibra in combination with Azure-native tools to support governance-related use cases. • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices are followed across data governance initiatives. • Provide client-facing technical guidance as needed. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering or data management roles. • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Collibra in a professional setting. • Proven understanding of Collibra principles, architecture, and implementation. • Strong experience in data governance as a domain, particularly around metadata management and data access policies. • Cloud experience: Azure preferred, but AWS acceptable. • Ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
