Role description
Role: Collibra Developer Location: Washington, DC (Prefer Local) Duration: 6 Months - Long Term Work Model: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon About the Role: Looking Collibra Developer with hands-on experience in configuring and customizing the Collibra platform to meet specific business needs and data governance requirements. Enterprise implementation is essential; finance domain is preferred. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Act as a key contributor in the implementation and maintenance of metadata management and data governance frameworks using Collibra. β€’ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and deliver governance solutions. β€’ Support enterprise initiatives around data access, classification, and control using governance frameworks. β€’ Leverage Collibra in combination with Azure-native tools to support governance-related use cases. β€’ Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices are followed across data governance initiatives. β€’ Provide client-facing technical guidance as needed. Required Qualifications: β€’ 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering or data management roles. β€’ 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Collibra in a professional setting. β€’ Proven understanding of Collibra principles, architecture, and implementation. β€’ Strong experience in data governance as a domain, particularly around metadata management and data access policies. β€’ Cloud experience: Azure preferred, but AWS acceptable. β€’ Ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
