Summary #INDHB Client is seeking a Narrative Insights Specialist temporary agency worker to support the Content Business Management team at Client Music. Through collaboration and data exploration, youβll work closely with teams across PR, content and editorial, business partnerships, international, marketing, and data analytics to develop insights-driven stories for internal and external use.
Narrative insights is a critical function within the larger Client Music organization, helping interpret and contextualize music trends through compelling storytelling supported by insights. Leverage your music industry and data journalism skills to identify trends and shape narratives to be shared both internally and externally.
Description
Collaborate with internal teams, including PR, to help perform analysis, interpret signals, and shape data driven narratives for both internal and external communications.
Conduct research and analysis, using a variety of datasets and methodologies to understand landscape trends.
Interpret and contextualize complex data through strong writing and editorial judgement, transforming insights into compelling stories that inform and engage.
Translate data into various formats β articles, briefs or reports β to communicate complex findings to internal stakeholders.
Support various teams with insights validation across different regions and genres.
Key Requirements
5-7 years Experience in data journalism, editorial writing, or PR, with focus on story telling utilizing insights.
Excellent communication skills, including writing and editing, along with sharp editorial instincts and judgement about story selection and framing.
Comfortable working with large datasets and the ability to convey complex findings concisely.
Proficiency in Excel is essential and experience with data visualization tools and languages such as SQL, R, or Python is a plus.
Strong understanding of music landscape across various genres and cultural trends.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable developing relationships and working cross-functionally across diverse teams.
You are a critical thinker with a curious mind and have the ability to focus on the details, with an eye on the broader landscape.
