Role Overview:
We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Data Steward to support enterprise HR data initiatives within a large-scale cloud data environment. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about data governance, data quality, metadata management, and modern analytics platforms such as Azure and Power BI.
In this role, you’ll partner cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, governance, and business stakeholders to ensure HR data assets are secure, accurate, compliant, and optimized for reporting and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and support enterprise data governance standards, policies, and procedures
• Manage metadata, data lineage, data quality controls, and lifecycle management initiatives
• Maintain and enhance HR data catalogs, business glossaries, and documentation
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data integrity and usability
• Support ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehouse optimization efforts
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of data quality issues
• Assist with audits, monitoring tools, and remediation initiatives related to HR data
• Help enforce security controls including role-based access, row-level security, and data protection standards
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive enterprise data initiatives forward
Qualifications:
• Experience working with Oracle HCM and/or PeopleSoft data
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Warehousing concepts, and Power BI
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DataBricks, ETL processes, and integration tools
• Knowledge of metadata management, lineage, cataloging, and master data management (MDM)
• Experience supporting enterprise data quality and lifecycle management efforts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• High attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and integrity
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DataBricks, ETL processes, and integration tools
• Knowledge of metadata management, lineage, cataloging, and master data management (MDM)
• Experience supporting enterprise data quality and lifecycle management efforts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• High attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and integrity
