Role description
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Analyst - IVΒ to join a financial services company in San Francisco, CA. This is a 12-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.
Pay: $95.00 - $106.60/hr;Β W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule:Β 8am-2pm ET or 2pm-8pm ET Monday through Friday.

Essential Responsibilities:
β’ This is a hands-on role. Applicants should not be managers or architects.
β’ Provide primary technical support to end user community for problems related to software, data issues, data communication and processing errors.
β’ Monitor application, production and/or implementation support, both technical and user, for new releases.
β’ Consult on application testing strategies, document observations and coordinate responses.
β’ Maintain project and application information including schedule, system scope, requirements, and other pertinent documentation. Make recommendations to management regarding process improvements. Coordinate the information flow between business owners and development staff. Coordinate tasks, functional reviews and application development sessions between the development site and technical work groups ensuring steps are executed timely.
β’ Document end-user interactions into the automated call logging tools for tracking and productivity purposes.
β’ Validate proposed technical approaches to system or application problem logs and make recommendations for mediation to management.

β’ Databricks AND (R or sparklyr) OR (Pyspark or Python)
β’ Databricks AND (Starburst OR Tableau)
β’ Databricks AND (Collibra OR Altreyx)
HANDS-ON Experience for the following:
β’ Databricks -Pyspark, Data Quality Framework, Building custom dashboards
β’ R/SparklyR - as a data analyst
β’ Pyspark/Python -with scripting and automation, performance tuning and debug capabilities
β’ Starburst - as a data analyst or Starburst developer or support engineer
β’ Collibra - as a Collibra developer or support engineer
β’ Alteryx - as a developer or support engineer
β’ Tableau - as a developer with performance tuning / debug capabilities
β’ Immuta - As a security analyst. Must have good Role Based and Attribute Based Security knowledge.
Additional Information:
β’ Sr. Technical Analyst roles for one-year assignments to implement and manage data products, ensuring that our data pipelines are scalable, secure, and efficient.
β’ US Citizens or Green Card holders are ok, however, a Green Card holder who is also a citizen of a restricted country is NOT ok.
β’ We have staff in these locations, and they are preferred: SF, Chicago, New York, Richmond, VA, Kansas City, Cleveland, Charlotte, and Dallas. Workers who are commutable to any Fed HQ or branch office is ok.
β’ Background needed is Peraton Moderate.
β’ Ability to perform involved, independent research and develop highly creative work products and proposals.
β’ Demonstrate a high degree of creativity in addressing problems/issues and opportunities.
β’ Demonstrated concentration on customer service orientation.
β’ Ability to work effectively in a highly matrix or virtual organization.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present/facilitate effective training sessions.
β’ Strong experience in Agile delivery, requirements engineering, backlog development and refinement.
β’ Strong experience in stakeholder engagement.
β’ Experience working with distributed teams, and providers of software solutions.
β’ Broad knowledge of application and data modelling techniques with the ability to identify root cause issues and appropriate solutions.
β’ Strong experience working in Agile environment/SAFe framework and Agile management tools like Jira.
β’ Excellent analytical and design skills.
β’ CBAP, Agile Analysis Certification or similar certifications preferred.
β’ Must be willing to be on call periodically from 8am-2pm ET or 2pm-8pm ET Monday through Friday.
β’ Hands-on for performing technical analysis and troubleshooting on highly complex integrated systems, including diagnostic approaches, determining root causes, and identifying solutions on a data lake house hosted in a cloud environment utilizing technologies such as R, sparklyr, Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, Tableau, Python and/or Alteryx.
