Job SummaryThe Data Analyst (Mid-Level) will work across the end-to-end supply chain, combining operations research, optimization, and simulation to identify efficiency gains and support data-driven decision-making. This role analyzes complex logistics data, develops models, performs scenario planning, and communicates findings clearly to stakeholders. The analyst will partner with logistics operations to drive performance improvement initiatives using advanced analytical and big-data tools.Key Responsibilities
β’ Partner with logistics teams to support daily operational execution of initiatives solvable through big-data technologies.
β’ Create complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from Snowflake Data Mart and Data Lake environments.
β’ Design and build logistics dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and IBM Cognos.
β’ Maintain in-depth understanding of logistics operations, including facilities, carriers, and product flow.
β’ Lead strategic business initiative assessments, including planning, modeling, and scenario development.
β’ Review and validate data accuracy; build models, run simulations, and contribute to business case development.
β’ Determine and track benefits realization and measure initiative performance using structured analysis.
Required Experience
β’ 3+ years of supply chain planning and design experience.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
β’ Deep knowledge of data management, database querying, query optimization, and data visualization principles.
β’ Experience with network modeling, operations planning, optimization, and complex data analytics.
Nice-to-Have Experience
β’ Background in supply chain, operations, analytics, or finance.
β’ Experience supporting large retail or distribution networks.
β’ Exposure to inventory optimization or product flow analytics.
