Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data from client systems into Client s data ecosystem. • Build and maintain data ingestion workflows for receiving client files, validating data quality, and securely transferring files into internal systems. • Develop data transformation logic using Apache Spark and Java, optimizing for performance and scalability. • Implement and orchestrate data workflows using AWS services such as Step Functions, Glue, Lambda, and S3. • Automate pipeline deployments and monitoring using CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code best practices (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform). • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to ensure data solutions meet functional and performance requirements. • Ensure compliance with Client s data governance, security, and privacy standards. • Troubleshoot data processing issues and optimize ETL performance across environments. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key Skills; AWS Glue ETL , PySpark, , Scala Spark . • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 7 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development. • Proficiency in Java and experience building Spark-based data processing applications. • Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EMR). • Strong understanding of data ingestion, file transfer, and data integration concepts. • Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources. • Experience with AWS Glue ETL jobs, PySpark, or Scala Spark. • Familiarity with Kafka, Snowflake, or Redshift for data delivery. • Exposure to data quality, metadata management, and data cataloging tools.
