Role description
We are partnering with a purpose-led healthcare organization that is modernizing its data environment and building scalable, cloud-native platforms that support millions of members across the United States. We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong AWS expertise and hands-on experience using AWS CDK to support major modernization and automation initiatives. This is a fully remote role with a contract-to-hire pathway. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines in AWS β€’ Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK β€’ Develop and optimize ETL and ELT workloads β€’ Collaborate with engineering, architecture and product teams to support data modernization efforts β€’ Ensure solutions align with compliance requirements common in healthcare environments β€’ Troubleshoot, monitor and improve data workflows and cloud infrastructure β€’ Support ongoing cloud migration and automation initiatives Required Skills and Experience β€’ Strong experience with AWS CDK and infrastructure as code β€’ Hands-on expertise with AWS data services including Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift or DynamoDB β€’ Strong Python or TypeScript programming experience β€’ Background in building robust ETL and ELT pipelines β€’ Solid understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD and automation β€’ Experience working with large datasets in high-compliance environments β€’ Healthcare domain experience is beneficial but not required Role Details β€’ Fully remote β€’ Contract to hire β€’ Opportunity to work on impactful healthcare data modernization initiatives β€’ Collaborative engineering culture with modern AWS tooling If you’re interested in shaping the future of healthcare data platforms and want to join a forward-thinking engineering team, I'd love to hear back from you.
