Data Engineer (SQL / C# / Power BI)

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong SQL and C# experience to support our data infrastructure, reporting, and internal application development. This role will focus primarily on finalizing data agreements, improving data integrity, and optimizing reporting tools (Power BI). Over time, you will also contribute to enhancements in our internal web portal and related systems. Key Responsibilities: Finalize and manage several data integration agreements and ensure data consistency across systems. Perform data cleanup and optimization tasks using SQL and C#. Refine and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including query optimization and troubleshooting report logic. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and efficient data flows. Assist in developing and maintaining internal applications and tools using C#, HTML, and JavaScript. Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve data accessibility for reporting and analytics. Document data structures, queries, and reporting processes for long-term maintainability. Required Qualifications: Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, data validation, troubleshooting). Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and web development concepts. Experience working with APIs, ETL processes, or data integration workflows. Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git) and agile development practices. Experience with C# for data processing and application logic. Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dataset creation and report optimization. Understanding of data modeling concepts and relational database design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Job Type: Contract Pay: $50.00 per hour Application Question(s): This is a 2-3 month contract.
