Weβre looking for an experienced Data Governance Analyst to play a key role in driving data governance initiatives across multiple business units within a fast-paced financial services environment. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about building strong data foundations, partnering with stakeholders, and enabling high-quality, well-governed data through best-in-class tools and frameworks.
What Youβll Do
β’ Collaborate with business teams to understand operational data requirements and ensure alignment with governance policies.
β’ Support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of data governance standards, policies, and procedures.
β’ Champion data ownership and stewardship across the organisation, promoting accountability and compliance.
β’ Use Collibra (or similar data governance platforms) to manage data domains, workflows, and governance artifacts.
β’ Facilitate data quality efforts, including issue management, resolution, and root cause analysis.
β’ Maintain and improve metadata repositories, ensuring consistent data definitions across systems.
β’ Support regulatory compliance, audit activities, and risk management processes.
β’ Provide training and guidance to business users on data governance principles and data governance tooling.
What Youβll Bring
β’ 5+ yearsβ experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
β’ Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
β’ Solid business and data analysis skills.
β’ Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar governance tools, including cataloging, policy management, and workflow configuration.
β’ Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
β’ Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and financial services compliance requirements.
β’ Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
