Role description
Brunel is recruiting Data Modelers to work in Houston, TX for an initial 1-year contract with our major oil and gas client. This opportunity will be working on their Unconventional Oil & Gas assets and will require the individual to have prior experience within this part of the industry.

β’ Start date: January 5, 2026
β’ No remote or work-from-home options.
Travel:
β’ Role is based in Houston but requires travel to Midland roughly every other month for short trips.
Role Responsibilities & Focus
β’ Perform data analysis to manage large datasets related to emissions and surface operations.
β’ Support the Net Zero team with emissions-focused data modeling.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong experience with data analysis tools within the oil & gas industry.
β’ Emissions data experience is strongly preferred.
β’ Must be proficient in building dashboards and analytics using:
β’ Power BI (mandatory)
β’ Tableau
β’ Spotfire
β’ Familiarity with:
β’ SiteView (preferred)
β’ ProCount
β’ Background in surface facilities, emissions estimation, and power systems is a plus.
β’ Experience in unconventional operations is required.
β’ Knowledge of power distribution and load shedding is beneficial.
β’ Not a heavy coding or core programming role.
