Join a global tech leader building cutting-edge products across social media, messaging, and immersive technologies. As part of the Integrity & Support organization, this role helps reduce harmful experiences on the platform through enforcement actions such as content takedowns, account restrictions, and feature limits.
Role Overview
As a Data Scientist, you will drive strategic and operational improvements in how enforcement actions impact users and advertisers. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to deliver data-driven insights that shape scalable, user-centered solutions—balancing platform safety, user trust, regulation, and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze complex data sets to inform product decisions and optimize enforcement mechanisms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improving user experience post-enforcement.
• Define success metrics, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate strategic insights.
• Support the design and measurement of scalable systems that maintain trust, reduce harm, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure alignment across teams on data-driven recommendations and support implementation.
What We’re Looking For
• Passionate about building trustworthy, supportive user experiences within platform integrity.
• Comfortable navigating large-scale systems and competing priorities (e.g. voice, safety, regulation, revenue).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
• Hands-on approach to exploring data, identifying gaps, and improving measurement systems.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics).
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience with statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, or Matlab) and A/B testing.
• Skilled in advanced analytics techniques such as clustering, regression, or pattern recognition.
• Experience working with large-scale data in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
