Scope of Services
The candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) services, including:
• Administrator, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Application Integration, and API Center.
• Ensuring platform stability, optimal configuration, and compliance across projects.
• Deploying, configuring, and upgrading Secure Agents on RHEL.
• Implementing failover/load balancing, cipher suites, and TLS/SSL communications.
• Utilizing CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins) to deploy mappings, tasks, and assets across IDMC orgs.
• Managing secure credentials, connections, agent parameter tuning, and SAML-based SSO.
• Monitoring performance and coordinating with infrastructure and data teams.
• Performing health checks, log management, and patching using CLI/shell scripting on RHEL.
• Supporting Cloud Data Integration, Application Integration, and Data Quality services.
• Collaborating with engineering and business teams on seamless pipeline and workflow deployments.
• Staying up to date on platform enhancements and recommending improvements.
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience
• Minimum of 7 years of IT experience with data management, BI tools, and data warehousing.
• Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake (preferred).
Primary Job Duties/Tasks
1. Expertise in Data Integration and Warehousing using Informatica IDMC (CDI, MI, CAI).
1. Development of ETL/ELT solutions for data transformation and integration.
1. IDMC and Secure Agent platform administration, including Snowflake Data Cloud adoption.
1. Strong understanding of DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Oracle databases.
1. Design of data warehouse models for optimized analytics and reporting.
1. Administration of Red Hat Linux (security patches, disk management, scripts).
1. Hands-on with IDMC Connectors, PowerExchange, ServiceNow, and relational sources.
1. Documentation of standards and practices.
1. IBM Mainframe COBOL, JCL, and DB2 analysis experience.
