The Informatica IDMC Platform Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) services, including:
β’ Core Services: Administrator, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Application Integration, and API Center.
β’ Infrastructure Operations:
β’ Deploy, configure, and upgrade Informatica Secure Agents on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
β’ Implement agent failover and load balancing.
β’ Manage secure communications (TLS/SSL) and cipher suites.
β’ DevOps Integration:
β’ Establish CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins) for deploying mappings, tasks, and assets across IDMC orgs.
β’ Configure platform connections, secure credentials, and optimize secure agent performance.
β’ Security and Governance:
β’ Manage SSO with SAML-based access, user roles, and policies.
β’ Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and data governance.
β’ Monitoring and Support:
β’ Monitor platform performance, perform root cause analyses, and maintain logs.
β’ Schedule tasks and manage SLAs, notifications, and health checks.
β’ Perform secure agent log rotation, patching, and CLI/shell scripting on RHEL.
β’ Collaboration: Coordinate with infrastructure, data, and security teams to ensure best practices.
β’ Technical Expertise:
β’ Provide support for Cloud Data Integration, Application Integration, and Data Quality.
β’ Coordinate with Informatica support for upgrades and patches.
β’ Enable development teams through seamless platform integration.
β’ Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Informatica Cloud enhancements and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, and automation.

β’ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

β’ Preferred: Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake
Primary Job Duties & Tasks
1. Advanced experience with Informatica IDMC tools (CDI, MI, CAI).
1. Expertise in ETL/ELT tasks and data integration.
1. Experience administering IDMC and Snowflake platforms.
1. Strong knowledge of relational databases: DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle.
1. Skilled in data modeling for reporting and analytics.
1. Proficient in RHEL administration: patching, scripting, file systems.
1. Experience with Change Data Capture via PowerExchange and other connectors.
1. Document methods and maintain best practices.
Background in IBM mainframes (COBOL, JCL, DB2) is a plus.
