Role description
Project 1 skillset: Cloud SQL for SQL Server administration. Multi-tenant database modeling, large-scale database migration (3.3 TB fleet), performance benchmarking, query optimization, and automated data validation using the Google Cloud Data Validation Tool (DVT). Project 2 skillset: Database Modernization: Deep, hands-on expertise with SQL Server management, optimization, and modernization (beyond standard Cloud SQL implementations). Cloud Infrastructure: Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Cloud Run, for deploying and scaling containerized applications. Microsoft Ecosystem Integration: Broad knowledge of Microsoft enterprise environments, including Active Directory (AD), the .NET framework, and associated infrastructure dependencies. o Proactive Ownership: Demonstrates strong initiative in conducting independent research, executing project pre-work, and unblocking technical hurdles without constant supervision. o Asynchronous Coordination: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of maintaining high responsiveness across all team channels in an asynchronous working environment. o Stakeholder Management: Ability to interface confidently and professionally with demanding internal customers and stakeholders, managing expectations effectively.
