Developer

On a day to day basis this person will be responsible for: • Developing custom in-house software applications and integrating internal software solutions into 3rd party software • Writing or modifying intranet and internet applications that interact with relational databases. • Providing status reports or work completed • Full life cycle project knowledge/experience to include: Communicating with users to refine, interpret, and implement technical requirements, application design, development, testing, enhancing/maintaining, and modifying existing web based applications. • Documenting test plans, and troubleshooting and resolving application problems. Top Four Skills • .NET Development (C#) – Solid mid-level experience; able to work independently. • .NET CMS in house- helping them spin it up. Need to understand a CMS at a high level is a plus. • .NET 75% backend should have experience in the front end • .NET 7,8, or 9. • Entity Framework • Understand GIT and version control • SQL • SQL- have general knowledge, SQL server is fine too • Web Development • High level understanding of CMS platforms. Will need to assist jr level developer spinning this up • HTML, CSS, Java Script • Mentorship & Collaboration – • Will mentor junior developer • Needs to work as a team Plus- • Blazer is a plus – some knowledge • Test driven development is a plus- understanding how it works Additional Skills & Qualifications Project Ownership – Capable of taking over responsibilities from a departing team member (Hend). • Blazer is a plus – some knowledge • Test driven development is a plus- understanding how it works Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
