Role description
Our client is a primary supplier to several NATO frameworks. An exciting and impactful role has been released today for one of the UK organisations within NATO. We will be reviewing profiles in time for submission on 11th December 2025 for review by NATO This role is only available to those with the Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the contract and those who hold a current UK Security Clearance (OR equivalent clearance of a NATO member state). Those without this cannot be considered. Defence sector experience is highly advantageous. • Analyse current financial and procurement processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to map and redesign workflows, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and best practices. • Identify business needs and translate them into elicit, documented and validated business requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis. Translate these requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories for technical teams, ensuring solutions meet business needs. • Support project delivery by coordinating requirements management, assisting with planning, and tracking progress. Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure timely and successful implementation of ERP solutions. • Engage with key users, business leaders, and other stakeholders to gather input, provide updates, and manage expectations. Foster collaboration and ensure all parties are informed throughout the project lifecycle. • Assist in developing and executing change management plans to support user adoption of new systems and processes. Provide training, create user guides, and offer ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition. • Participate in system configuration, data migration, and testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT). Develop comprehensive documentation, including process flows and functional specifications, to support implementation and future enhancements. • Support project delivery from start to finish, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget, whilst working in an agile manner, such as adopting the Scrum framework. • Provide end-user and technical team How to Guides and training on developed features and produce structured documentation and reporting that outlines implementation steps, system behaviour, and key technical considerations Skills and Experience • Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Power Platform, including business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution specification. • Demonstrated ability to analyse, map, and optimise financial and procurement processes; experience developing business cases and functional specifications. • Experience supporting ERP project delivery, including requirements management, planning, and progress tracking. • Strong skills in facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder communications. • Experience assisting with change management activities, user training, and adoption of new systems. • Hands-on involvement in system configuration, data migration, testing (including UAT), and documentation. • Familiarity with system integration, data migration, and configuration within ERP environments. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or similar certification.
