On this 12-month secondment as an Account Support Analyst in GCG reporting to the Business Manager, GCG you will be responsible for managing 2 key compliance projects within GCG EMEA related to KYC and bank remediation. This will involve complex data analysis of large datasets, creating innovative methodologies to complete the analyses, project planning and reporting, communicating with and guiding client managers and acting as a point of contact for the overall project managers. You will play a key role in supporting the team to deliver on some of our most important compliance goals for the next year whilst having the opportunity to work in a diverse team of experienced data analysts and client managers supporting some of the world’s leading companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is a skilled data analyst proficient in SQL and Excel who is looking to broaden their data skills portfolio, progress their project management skills and have the opportunity to work with global clients. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Manage GCG EMEA Bank Remediation project: data analysis, project planning and reporting, stakeholder communication β€’ Manage GCG EMEA KYC refresh remediation project: data analysis, project planning and reporting, stakeholder communication β€’ Collaborate with other GCG analysts globally sharing best practices β€’ Work closely with CLMs and directors to drive and provide insights on key projects β€’ Manage other analytical responsibilities such as hierarchy and pricing maintenance, reporting and marketing support as required Required Qualifications (please note that candidates without advanced SQL and Excel skills will not be considered): β€’ Advanced SQL β€’ Advanced Excel skills (VBA advantageous) β€’ Self-motivated and keen to learn new skills β€’ Good written and verbal communication skills β€’ Experience of working in a regulated environment with the need for rigorous compliance β€’ Confident manipulating and interpreting large datasets β€’ Good team player with strong collaboration skills β€’ Willing to work 3 or more days per week at the Brighton or London office Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Python β€’ Good understanding of building & maintaining global merchant hierarchies β€’ Experience working across an international team β€’ Demonstrated project management skills Non-considerations for sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions We back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
