Global Market Intelligence Analyst
Location: Austin, TX | Sylmar, CA | Minnetonka, MN
Pay Rate: $93 - $100/hour
Schedule: 8-hour days, start between 8-9 AM (flexible)
Work Arrangement: Onsite required; part-time onsite may be considered for exceptional candidates
Travel: Minimal - occasional marketing meetings
Reason for Opening: Temporary coverage for team member on medical leave, potential to extend or convert to permanent
Position Summary
The Global Market Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in analyzing global sales performance, forecasting trends, and supporting data-driven business decisions across the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio. This role requires strong analytical acumen, business insight, and the ability to connect data points to actionable strategy.
The analyst will support global reporting and modeling initiatives, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of sales and market share data used by senior leadership. Success in this role hinges on attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Conduct global sales analysis and establish consistent sales forecast reporting across business units.
β’ Develop and maintain global models to track product line trends, product mix, and share performance.
β’ Partner cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and sales teams to align on sales and share data at country and regional levels.
β’ Ensure global forecasts accurately capture unit volumes and market trends.
β’ Collect and synthesize competitive intelligence data from global partners.
β’ Deliver clear, data-driven presentations and insights for leadership decision-making.
β’ Champion process improvements related to data quality, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
β’ Manage ad hoc data requests with efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Statistics, Information Science, or related field.
β’ Minimum 3+ yearsβ experience in an analytical or market intelligence role.
β’ Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and complex reporting.
β’ Proven ability to translate raw data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills with experience supporting cross-functional teams.
β’ Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines with precision.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in Salesforce and Power BI (dashboard viewing and analysis).
β’ Background in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
β’ Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to data integrity.
β’ Experience supporting market forecasting and competitive intelligence initiatives.
β’ Demonstrated agility in handling ad hoc or unstructured data requests.
Success Measures
