About the Role
As an HR Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Workforce Planning and Reporting functions. You’ll work closely with leaders across the organisation to meet internal and external reporting needs, leveraging business intelligence tools to transform data into strategies that drive improvement.
This is more than spreadsheets and systems—it’s about making data matter. From managing restructures within HR systems to leading integrity drives and audits, you’ll ensure our establishment data is accurate, robust and ready to meet statutory requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Use data and statistical insights to inform workforce strategy
Manage HR systems, restructures, and large-scale data updates
Deliver reports to senior management and regulatory bodies
Support statutory data returns and payroll activities
Advise internal stakeholders and improve data processes
Be part of the council’s improvement journey in delivering a best in class Oracle platform to ensure data-driven decision making.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in Excel or statistical reporting
Advanced data management skills within HR/Payroll databases or equivalent
Knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects)
Strong communication and consultancy skills across all levels
Project management experience, including process mapping with Visio
Familiarity with Oracle or equivalent, position management protocols, and smart reporting tools
