IBM ELM / Rational Tools Administrator - US Citizens Only

PROLIM (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking IBM ELM / Rational Tools Administrator for one of our top client for role US Citizens Only Job Description: Our client is seeking a Senior IBM ELM / Rational Tools Administrator with extensive experience supporting and managing IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM/CLM) tools. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in tool administration, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and automation scripting to support large-scale enterprise software development environments. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and support IBM ELM/CLM tools including EWM (RTC), ETM (RQM), ERM (DOORS Next), JTS, JRS, DCC, LQE, and LDX • Perform system upgrades, migrations, and database transitions (MS SQL → DB2 or Oracle) • Automate and customize environments using Perl, Shell, Batch, Python, or DXL scripting • Manage integrations with Jenkins, Jira, GitHub, Build Forge, and UrbanCode Deploy • Maintain system reliability, performance optimization, and security compliance • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance tools • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field • 10+ years of experience administering IBM Rational / ELM / CLM tools • Strong background in Software Configuration Management (SCM) and DevOps practices • Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, and traditional SDLC methodologies • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills About PROLIM PROLIM is a leading provider of PLM, IoT and Digital transformation solutions to Global Fortune 1000 companies.
