About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in Pega BPM to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners and UK-based business stakeholders to define, document, and deliver enterprise-grade business process management (BPM) solutions. You will act as the key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are captured, clarified, and implemented effectively within the Pega platform.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Act as a bridge between business users, architects, and developers to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
• Lead requirement workshops and elaboration sessions with business teams.
• Translate business needs into well-defined specifications, requirement rules, and process models within Pega.
• Maintain clear documentation ensuring all requirements are accurate, traceable, and testable.
Agile Delivery
• Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria in collaboration with technical and QA teams.
• Validate test cases and ensure all stories meet the definition of ready (DoR) and definition of done (DoD).
• Review implemented stories, perform UAT, and provide continuous feedback for improvement.
Continuous Collaboration
• Conduct “Show & Tell” sessions and demos to showcase progress and gather feedback.
• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify evolving requirements and manage expectations throughout delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including hands-on experience delivering Pega BPM applications.
• Strong understanding of Pega Specification and Requirement Rules.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven ability to write concise, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills—especially with UK-based clients.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and translate complex business processes.
Nice to Have
• Pega Business Architect (CBA/CSSA) certification.
• Experience with process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Prior work in financial services, insurance, or regulatory domains.
