Role description
Role: Observability Lead / Architect, Grafana Location: Warren, NJ 07059 (100% onsite – No flexibility) We have detailed the skill expectations as below. We would need Observability Lead / Architect who has very strong experience in Observability, Grafana and Automation experience (Python Scripting/Shell), Kubernetes, AWS Yrs of Exp – 10-12 is fine Must have: 1. Grafana stack experience - metrics, traces, logs, Alloy agent experience, OTelCollector experience, exporters for different open source components, application metrics exporting 1. Troubleshooting in Linux environment. 1. Programming - Python or equivalent language 1. Automation scripting - Shell scripts 1. AWS Cloud experience 1. Working with Kubernetes applications (mid-level experience), helm charts Good to have: 1. Other Observability platforms experience (Splunk etc.) 1. DevOps - Infra 1. Cloud Operations 1. Terraform 1. CICD with Jenkins Expertise: β€’ Architecture & Solutioning β€’ AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure Services. β€’ Grafana and Observability as a Service. β€’ Platform Services and Web Applications monitoring. β€’ DevOps Expert Level. β€’ Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and Kubernetes Services. Roles and Responsibilities: β€’ Spearhead and align technical and business discussions concerning future architectural direction across the product portfolio or product line. β€’ Define the solution architecture for Application Design and Integration design, incorporating security, performance, and scalability. β€’ Analyze the current state and design a roadmap and implementation plan for the future state, maintaining a cohesive architectural perspective. β€’ Design major aspects of the application architecture, including middleware and infrastructure components. β€’ Collect and analyze data to develop architectural requirements at the project level. β€’ Conceptualize technical solutions and select technology options based on solution requirements. β€’ Produce design documentation such as HLD, LLD, TAD, TDD, etc., as needed. β€’ Complete architectural deliverables for backlog items to prepare them for engineering. β€’ Participate in the enterprise architecture domain governance model. β€’ Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms with reusable and orchestratable components. β€’ Research and assess emerging technology, industry, and market trends to support project development and operational activities. β€’ Serve as the Architectural SME for the scrum team and review technical design. β€’ Promote the reuse of ideas, components, and proven patterns.
